Calcium carbonate is the trade name of (limestone) and is in the form of a crystalline mineral or white powder, and the chemical formula of calcium carbonate is (CaCO3), and with a molecular weight equal to (100.09)g/ mol. As for their physical properties, they are: white or gray-colored rocks in the form of crystals, and after grinding, a white powder appears, soft to the touch, lacking taste and smell, and insoluble in water.
Calcium carbonate (limestone) is found in nature in several forms, the most important of which are: chalk, limestones, marble, sedimentary rocks, which resulted due to the deposition of some small shells, oysters and corals over millions of years

Sizes and sizes of calcium carbonate (limestone)

Normal

Normal CaCO3 is a versatile basic material, as it is distinguished by its purity and stability of properties, it is widely used in industries such as paints, plastics and building materials.
- Micron: the grinding degree ranges from (8micron:100micron )

Coated

Coated CaCO3 has a treated surface that enhances compatibility with polymers, improves the strength and softness of the finished product, making it an ideal choice for high-quality plastic and paint applications.
- Micron: the grinding degree ranges from (8micron:100micron )
